Being a change agent for companies like Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton as well as other mining companies, it does place an enormous strain on personnel to have to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Many leave the companies for more stable prospects, however, change is in the wings all the time and it is up to the likes of us to actively listen to the concerns and where possible, allay the fears or adapt or slow the change to suit the changing conditions.
